Agustin Auffant founded the Auffant College Connection in 1983 and serves as President and CEO. Agustin has a 25+-year record of success in Latino/Hispanic student recruitment, implementation of regional fairs, and counseling of prospective students. His experience spans in the technical areas of e-recruiting, teleconferencing, streaming video, webcasting and intelligence research. He continues to mold and lead several recruitment strategies for a wide range of organizations including universities, corporations, and school systems. 
 
Agustin is the creator of LaZonaUniversitaria.com a leading national Hispanic online recruiting portal that empowers prospective undergraduate and graduate student to manage their college search process in the United States, Puerto Rico and Latin America. The site features the “famous” CALIENTE section which provides students Spanish college profiles and the capability of setting online interviews, attend teleconferences, observe webcasting and review college streaming videos.  
 
At the present time he partners with United States hospitals in search of Physicians and Registered Nurses from Puerto Rico and the Caribbean. He is the principal force behind NCLEX-Flash review to benefit Hispanic registered nurses in Puerto Rico, and Dominican Republic. He coordinates English as a Second Language programs for health professionals.
Also sponsors annual College Fairs to promote United States bachelor’s and master’s degrees.
 
He served as Professional Medical Recruiter/Workforce Diversity Coordinator for Fallon/Saint Vincent Health Care System (MA), Manager, Children’s Medical Center (DC), Outpatient General Pediatrics & Adolescent Medicine Ambulatory Care Centers, Management Fellow, AETNA Health Plans of Mid-Atlantic/American Association of Health Plans(AAHP) (DC), the Program Director of Minority Outreach for the University of Massachusetts Medical Center, managed community outreach, recruitment and counseling of pre-med and medical students; participated in the formulation and implementation of policies related to student of color.  
 
Previously in the 1980’s he spent 4 years as an Associate Director of Admissions at Assumption College, Massachusetts were he was the driving force responsible for the annual enrollment of Hispanic students.
